Özet: The town of Uludere in the province of Şırnak has an important position with its geographic structure, vegetation and diversity, bee ecotypes and traditional beekeeping. This study was carried out by face-to-face interviews with 100 beekeepers at the end of 2018 to determine the general status of beekeeping and beekeepers in Uludere district. The study was carried out to determine the beekeeping structure of the district and the current situation of the sector and to determine the number of colonies with the number of colony and the effect of the age of the beekeeper on the honey yield. Suggestions on the use of information and technology were presented in order to contribute to the economy of the district, the difficulties in supplying breeding material and materials, the problems encountered in the marketing of the products produced and the sustainability of the beekeeping. In this study 79% that of the proportional amount of providing apiculture his life, 20 years in the district where being six beekeepers in the education of beekeepers who participated in the work situation usually is secondary and high schools, bee diseases and pests recognized by the majority of beekeepers, colonies of average and honey yield is below the average in Turkey, in this province it was determined that there was no commercially available queen bee producer. Based on this study, it is recommended to educate producers and to expand the production of queen bees in the light of scientific and technological knowledge about beekeeping in the district.
