Özet: This study was carried out in Konya Karapinar for two years in 2012-2013 in order to determine the effects of the restricted irrigation applied in different phenological periods of maize plant on some agricultural characters. In the study, threee water application (S100; full water, S70; 70 % of full water, S40; 40 % of fulll water) and 4 phenological periods (vegetative, tasseling, pollination and milk period) were used. The study was carried out with Sakarya maize variety according Randomized Complete Block Experimential Design as Split Plot four replications. In the study; plant height, grain number, ear length and weight per ear and thousand kernel weight parameters were studied. Reduced irrigation water further reduced these values. In the study, especially in pollination and milk production periods, restricted water application reduced number of grains in the ear, grain weight in earn, weight of a thousand grains and length of the earn. It was determined that these parameters were not affected much in a 30 % water restrict in the early period. In the study, it was concluded that determination of tolerant development periods in water-sensitive plants such as corn and it was determined that the application of water limitation in these tolerated periods would affect the yield in minimum level.
