Özet: In this study, it was aimed to calculate the production costs of oilseed sunflower in Çumra, Konya. The basic data of the study was obtained by a survey which has been applied to 62 farms chosen by stratified random sampling method. The obtained data includes 2018 - 2019 production period. According to the research results, the average variable costs of oilseed sunflower production were TL 410,23 per decare and fixed costs were 355,31 TL. It has been determined that yield per decare was 450,21 kg and sale price of a kilo of oilseed sunflower was 2,39 TL. It has been figured out that, in the studied farms, oilseed sunflower production value (GPV) was 1074,50 TL/da, gross profit was 664,27 TL/da, and net profit was 308,96 TL/da. It has been found that gross profit rate was 61,82% and net profit rate was 28,75%. In business average, while the cost of a kilo of oil sunflower was 1,70 TL and net profit was 0,69 TL, the relative profit was 1,40 TL. As the size of the business increases, the variable and fixed costs decrease. Despite this difference in costs, there has not been a significant change in yield in farms size groups. According to these results, it was determined that the profitability rates increased as the size of the farms increased.
