Özet: It is very important to use correctly the words and the concepst of Qur’an in order to be clear and more comprehensible of translations and search about Qur’an.The concepts of “Nebî”, ”Resûl” and “Prophet” are the must important and complicated among them, and so people have to be more careful while using and translating them. It is necessary to detailed search into these concepts. Fahreddin Râzi (ö. 606/1209) who is the writer of “Tefsîru’l-Kebîr or Mefâtihu’l Ğayb” and Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır (ö. 1942) the writer of “Hak Dini Kur’an Dili” distingvish these words from each other and use them more carefully. Finally in our opinion, it is a mistake or problem to use the concept of “Prophet” as a general meaning instead of the concepts of “Resûl” and “Nebî” some of the translatinons/ commentaries of Elmalılı.
