Özet: Our contry is the world’s largest hazelnut producer but it is known that they ieldperuniştarea is lower to compared with other manufacturer countries. One of there ason saffecting the yield of hazelnuts is disease and pests. Although many diseases and pests are seen in hazelnut, powdery mildewandbacterialblightdiseases, green shield bug andhazelnut weevil, such as a few harmful species are known to cause great economic damage. Auchenorrhynchaspecies, a suborder of Hemiptera (Leafhoppers, Planthoppers, Cicadasand Spittle bugs), are insects that caused amage to cultivated plants due to their diet. These insects harm the plantsby not absorbing their own water but by infecting the microorganisms they carry (bacteria, viruses, fungi). In this study in order to determine the Auchenorrhynchaspecies found in hazelnuts data in the literature have been compiledandupdated. Identified species 3 belong to Issidaefamily, 1 belong to Ricaniidaefamily, 1 belong to Flatidaefamily, 3 belong to Aphrophoridaefamily, 1 belong to Membracidaefamily and 10 belong to Cicadellidaefamily. Information on the distribution of these species and host plant preferences has beenupdated. Information on theAuchenorrhyncha species, which are vectors of bacterial blight diseases and phytoplasmadiseases, also included in the lists of the identified species EPPO, has beenupdated and other species of the subset considered as potential vectorshave been described. It was point edout that Auchenorrhync has peciesdetected in hazelnut will be potential vectors of two important diseases seen in hazelnut. Inorder to increase they ieldandquality of hazelnuts, not only with known diseases and pests; it is of great importance to combat vectors that transmit these important diseases.
