Özet: Listening with stethoscope is a preferential method that the doctors use in order to differentiate normal cardiac systems from the abnormal ones that come out. On the other hand, listening with stethoscope has a number of constraints. The interpretation of these various heart sounds depends on doctor's ability of hearing, experience and skill. Because of the problems that can be faced, listening process with stethoscope, that is auscultation, falls behind in the search of the heart abnormalities. In this study which we took the requirements into consideration, a system has been designed that is able to classify normal and abnormal heart sounds in the pocket computer.
