Özet: In this study, a remote monitoring and automation system that ensure safety of the transformer centers has been realized. A GSM based a remote control system has been improved for transmitting the cases that exist on the transformer centers to the control center and the related persons. Visual software has been developed to provide monitoring and evaluating the signals at the control center. The input and outputs of the transformer centers are controlled from the six terminals. While energy interruption occurred a short message is sent to the control center. The energy interruptions are monitored instantaneously on the visual interface software by the evaluating the incoming messages. The operators can evaluate that the energy interruption is caused by the transformer theft or caused by the electrical failure. The operators are notified about the energy failures instantly. The developed system has been set up to the distribution transformers used in the medium voltage electrical network. The developed system is tested successfully that it is fast, reliable, precise and exact.
