Özet: In this study, a multi-objective optimization model aiming the optimizasyon of the selected performance properties (hydrophility, softness and breaking strengths) of towel fabrics simultaneously was developed. In addition to this, since obtaining the values needed for developing this model, four single-objective models were developed. The solution of these models was realized with using LINGO 8.0 software. By examining the solution results of the model developed, the physical properties needed for producing the towel having certain properties and the performance properties of the towel that will be obtained after production can be predicted. So, it would be possible to ensure considerable savings in cost and time consuming for the towel production process.
