Özet: Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the pharmacological knowledge levels and drug dose calculation skills of nursing students. Methods: The descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 257 nursing senior students in Istanbul province, data were collected using "Structured Question Form". In the statistical analysis of the data; numerical variables were evaluated by mean, standard deviation; categorical variables were evaluated by number and percentage. Results: It was found that 87.2% of nursing students were female and 51.4% of participants were high school graduate, 35% of them were working part time as nurses / nurse candidates. It was determined that all of the students took pharmacology courses in the first two years of undergraduate nursing education and mostly (46.7%) as two hours a week in the third semester. The mean score of the pharmacological knowledge level of the students was 18.37 ± 4.06; the mean score of the calculation was 12.07 ± 3.44 and the mean score was 30.43 ± 6.53. Conclusion: It was found that the students in the last term of undergraduate nursing education had a moderate level of success in terms of pharmacological knowledge level and dose calculation skills. It was also seen that taking more hours of pharmacology courses and working experience had a positive effect on students' achievements.
