Özet: Abstract This study aims to determine the differences with the opinions of students between high school and private preparation course teachers' in-class behavior according to the Gagne's Instructional Design Model. To do so, "In-class Teacher Behavior Instrument" developed by the researchers was used. The sample of the study consisted of 457 students from 5 out of 293 private preparation courses in Çankaya, Ankara. The paired samples t test was applied in order to specify if there is any significant difference between students' opinions on school and high school teachers and sex, field, and school type. The analysis revealed significant differences that the average scores of private preparation course teachers was higher than those of high school teachers.
