Özet: Kidneys are extremely important structures in living organisms. However, various substances may also have toxic effects on this system. These include medicines used for therapeutic purposes, organic and inorganic compounds, mycotoxins and plants. Exposure to such substances may result in kidney damage to animals. Consequently, clinical symptoms may be occur. In this review, substances that may cause toxic effects for kidneys and their undesirable effects were evaluated.
