Özet: The hip joint (articulatio coxofemoralis) has an anatomically strong structure and is not easily dislodged. Coxofemoral luxations may occur in cases where the hind limbs are in excessive adduction / abduction position, such as sudden movement reversal, false exercise in the stepped floor, high body mass index; the most common cause of the occurrence of traffic accidents. In addition, it can be observed in diseases such as Legg-Perthes-Calves and hip dysplasia in dogs. In the cases of coxofemoral luxation due to trauma, the capsule articularis (capsula articularis) ruptured from the ventral, and if the caput femoris partially dislocates, subluxation; If the ligamentum teres femoris breaks completely, luxation (complete dislocation) occurs. As a result of luxation, severe pain, deformation of joints and loss of function may occur in the region. As the luxation can be seen as a primer alone, it can be seen with fractures (fissures) and fractures (caput ossis femoris fracture, collum ossis femoris fracture). In the treatment of traumatic coxofemoral luxation, many methods such as closed reduction, caput femoris resection, total hip replacement, toggle-pin application can be used. In this paper, information about treatment options of coxofemoral luxations due to traumatic causes will be given.
