Determination The Effect of Plant Activator Applications on Tomato Pollen Formation

Özet: In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of plant activator applications on tomato pollen formation. For this purpose, Daylos and Seyran tomato varieties were used. ISR-2000 and Crop-Set were used as plant activators. The first application was made in the first flowering period and then spray application was applied to the plants 3 times in 14 days intervals. After the applications were finished, the flowers were analyzed for morphology of pollen, germination and also pollen viability. And at the same time, plant activator applications examined the effect of tomato fruit quality. In research result, the applications of plant activators were supper effected by pollen viability, pollen germination and pollen morphology. pollen viability and germination ISR-2000 was found highest in application than the other application. The Crop-Set application were increased. control application was the lowest. The application of ISR-2000 and Crop-Set according to the average fruit weight, fruit size. The result were that fruit weight has increased.
