Özet: Phytochemical investigation of Vitis quinquangularis has led to the isolation of a new resveratrol trimer, quinquangularol (1), along with three known stilbenoids 2–4. The structure and relative configuration of 1 were established on the basis of spectroscopic evidence, especially HMBC and NOESY experiments. It showed potent antioxidant activity against DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) radical.
