Özet: Sayyid Hussein (Hüseyin Akyol), altough his lost eyes when he was a small child, he has been involved in the education and teaching in the East schools. Despite he is from Mardin/Dargeçit/Gürışık, but also he is famous from Batman/Gercüş/Vergili (Bêcırman). At a young age, he started his education beside the village imam, which he received from the important teachers of the region. He also went to Syria and took tecvid and kraat lessons and got his diploma there. But he received his scholarship diploma from Şeyh Fahrettin. Seyyid Hussein has been a professor in the village of Vergili (Bêcırman), where he taught more than fifteen years. An illness she has suffered prevented her from teaching. The characteristic of Sayyid Hussein in the forefront of the scholarship is the struggle to spread “tecvit” and “kıraat” which is not common in the eastern medrese. He has also taught tecvid lessons in both of his schools and his students schools. Many people have given permission in the field of kıraat from his. Seyyid Hussein was born in Mardin/Dargeçit/Gürışık in 1938 and he died in Batman on 20.02.2015 and buried in Batman.
