Özet: This study was carried out to determine the distribution of sarcosporidiosis in meat and meat Products consumed at Van Market. Meat samples obtained from Van Municipal Slaughtering House and sausage, salami, fermented sausage and minced-meat samples consumed at Van the market were examined in respect of Sarcocystis cysts. The rate of Sarcocystis cysts in beef was 73.1%, in sheep the meat was 51.2%, in goat meat 84.1% in slaughter animals consumed at Van Market. In fermented sausage, the rate was 73.3%, in minced-meat ıvas 78.5%. No cysts was determined in salami and sauages.
