Özet: In this context it has been carried on the studies about improving teacher and program competence in the field of learning Turkish as a native language. It has just began to study about Foreign Language Teacher Special Program Competence. There is only one Ph.D thesis about researching teachers’ special program competence who teach Turkish as a foreign language. In this study it is aimed to determine matched level between -considering the contents of- compulsory and elective courses in which teaching programs of the faculties of education in the universities that comprise Turkish teacher education program and special program competence of Turkish teacher as a foreign language. For this reason eight universities have been determined which can be reached its teaching program and contents via the website and after that at compulsory and elective courses and their credits were examined. This program and course contents were compared with the special program competences of Turkish teacher as a foreign language. Program and courses of department and also special program competence were presented comparatively in tables
