Özet: Developing technology, facilitation of communication, cheapness, disappearance of the concept of time and space with the phenomenon called globalization have brought many radical changes in the economy, especially in the financial system, workforce and cost structure. Money and financial crises have become more vulnerable to shocks. While these changes and developments add to these speed factors, making consumers more effective in the markets, they also give the power to dominate the market to the joining commercial enterprises by adapting to new realities. However, sometimes, the small distribution of information on a global scale by processing it in the opposite structure puts colossal enterprises into difficulty, and small businesses are prominent in the fight against global structures. This new economic structure is largely based on information that is becoming widespread, accelerating, easily accessible, and mainly information. In a model where information is fundamental, it is not to be overlooked that the information becomes a records by transforming it into a records, keeping the records / information in a controlled manner and reuse with co-manageable systems. At the point reached today, information does not only consist of technical information (such as patent, license, know-how, etc.) on how to make production, but it is not of great importance. For example, consumers are now individually markets, firms, products, etc. It can quickly access information, information about such things, make more convenient and effective research on goods and services, and easily move from one product or manufacturer to another for different reasons, and do not need national borders to access them. Information adequacy or information calibration has become an important concept in terms of consumer habits, and with this, social differentiation and individualization have come to the fore. Information is integrated into the basic point of economic activities, and information density increases significantly in all areas of the economy. The condition of knowledge-based growth and rapid development is to adapt to new situations, to add articulation, but also to perform the necessary mental and structural transformations. From this point of view, it is of vital importance for businesses, which set off from the new realities of the world, to take the records/ information-based management systems of the companies to their interests and fields of activity, and to carry out the works and transactions with the professionals of the profession. In this article, it has been tried to determine the benefits of records/information management for private companies and companies.
