Özet: The aim of this study is to compare woman teachers’ job satisfaction with that of woman nurses and bankers with regard to the dimension of administration and supervision. The study includes only woman teachers, bankers and nurses who work in public sector. Descriptive research and stratified sampling method was used in the study. The sample group of the study includes woman teachers working in primary and secondary schools, woman bankers working in the branches of three public banks and woman nurses working in the public hospitals in Çankaya and Altındağ counties of Ankara Province. A questionnaire with personality variables and job satisfaction in five point Likert scale was conducted to collect data. Questionnaires were distributed randomly to 510 women employees, 430 questionnaires were received and 404 of the questionnaires were analyzed in SPSS 16. Data was analyzed by one way Anova variance analysis, Tukey test. Woman teachers, bankers and nurses’ level of job satisfaction level in administration and supervision dimension was found as 3, 08 (medium level). As nurses had the lowest job satisfaction level (2, 9), teachers became the second with their 3, 1 job satisfaction level. Bankers was the group who had the highest level of job satisfaction with 3, 3 score. Administrators were advised to take some precautions to encounter the employees’ economic, socio-psychological expectations and needs and do some legislative regulations.
