Özet: Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder with multisystem involvement in children and adults. In Newborns, the most frequent occurrence in Europe is the frequency of having a disease in different ethnic origins, ranging from 1/3500 to 1/30000. In order to extend the expected life span and increase the survival rate in patients with CF, it is necessary to put the diagnosis early and to start treatment early. Inadequate use of energy due to digestive failure in CF, increased energy need, gastrointestinal problems and inadequate nutrition due to reduced appetite; Vitamin mineral deficiencies are also frequently seen as malabsorption origin. Malnutrition is seen in CF infants and children because of the increased need for nutrition and the inability to meet the needs. In this review, it is aimed to introduce the principles of medical nutrition therapy principles and nutritional therapy in Cystic Fibrosis.
