Özet: It is an accepted fact that cinema works cannot be isolated from the context of the social structure in which they are produced. In this article based on these considerations, founded in the 20th century in the last quarter PKK particularly taken after the time of the acts of violence during the 1990s and which caused controversy in Turkey "Big Man, Little Love" (2001) movie, emotionally period and intellectual it is tried to be examined with the assumption that it carries the traces of the atmosphere. In the context of the PKK's acts of violence and the state's struggle against the PKK, especially Kurdish citizens living in the East and Southeast regions of Turkey; their thoughts and feelings towards the state, Turks and the PKK have become important. In this sense, “Big Man Little Love” movie; examined in the context of sociological film criticism to reveal the perspective of citizens of Kurdish origin trapped between the state, the PKK and the nationalist Turkish society.
