Özet: It is seen that individuals get away from rational behavior in decision making process due to many factors in daily life. In this study, personal, psychological and sociological factors that are effective in decision making process of individuals are explained. In the application part, the results of the survey conducted with 320 people in the shopping center in Denizli are given. As a result of the analysis, it was observed that some of the influencers behaved irrationally during the purchasing behavior of individuals. According to the results of the analysis, it is understood that individuals who do not have children shop for entertainment and use credit cards more than individuals who have children. It was seen that individuals who do not have children make unplanned decisions during shopping.
