Özet: Countries establish economic relations with each other due to lack of resources in production of goods and services. Countries that suffer from foreign trade take protective measures by introducing import restrictions and imposing customs and non-tariff barriers against countries with which they have economic relations. Likewise, the other country retaliates and takes these measures to start the customs and trade war. Because of globalization, this war is affecting all the countries of the world. Customs and trade wars, especially between countries with effective power within the world economy, are causing irreversible losses. In the study, trade wars on the world economy were discussed and the impact of these wars on Turkey's tax capacity was examined
