Özet: The civil aviation sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in Turkey. In this study, the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the Turkish civil aviation sector were examined systematically by SWOT analysis, which was constructed on a numerical basis. For this purpose, unlike other studies in the literature, the current situation of the Turkish civil aviation sector has been tried to be addressed by the SWOT-AHS integrated method, which allows the importance levels of factors to be determined. In the study, firstly SWOT matrix was created with reference to the literature. The factors in the SWOT matrix were then integrated into the AHP hierarchy and the current situation of the Turkish civil aviation sector was assessed. The findings of the study indicated that the most important factor in terms of the sector is tourism potential.
