Özet: Adding extracurricular activities to the classroom activites were offered in the curriculum in the year 2004. Science Centers are one of those places outside the schools where an individual has both mental and physical practices. Planning the field trips to Science Centers by associating them to the objectives of the subject gives some important opportunities to make the visits more efficient. The hands-on exhibits in Science Centers give also some opportunities to the students to construct the knowledge in Science lessons and make the abstract concrete. Based upon those ideas, it is aimed to give an example activity by using Whispering Dishes Exhibit at Feza Gürsey Science Center in this study. In the prepared learning activity, a game on Whispering Dishes has been designed and thus constructing a meaningful understanding of science content ‘sound’, which takes place in different stages of the Science, is aimed. Thus, by offering a learning activity that can be put into practice during a trip to Science Centers, it is also aimed to use Whispering Dishes Exhibit more efficently, to set an example for the activities which can be done in Science Centers and to give an idea to the teachers.
