Özet: The aim of this research is to examine academic self-efficacy and academic examination of the relationship between levels of motivation of the students at the Faculty of Sport Sciences . The population of this study is the 720 in the Faculty of Sport Sciences of the Akdeniz University, the sample of group from 348 students. As the data collection tools have been used “Academic Self-Efficacy Scale” developed by Jerusalem ve Schwarzer (1981), adapted to Turkish Yılmaz et al. (2007) and “Academic Motivation Scale” developed by Bozanoğlu (2004) et al. Research, data analysis; the methods of descriptive statistics, Kruskal Wallis-H Test, Mann-Whitney-U Test and Correlation Analysis were used. Students scores Academic Self-Efficacy Scale did not show a statistically significant difference according to the gender, age, department, and class variables, however, that according to general academic grade point average scores, it was determined that the variable showed a statistically significant difference. Students scores Academic Motivation Scale did not show a statistically significant difference of scores according to where the department and class variables, however, it was determined that according to the gender, age, and general academic gradepoint average variables showed a statistically significant difference. In addition, students were identified Academic Self-Efficacy Scale scores and Academic Motivation Scale scores between directional and a highly significant positive relationship. As a result of research; students scores Academic Self-Efficacy Scale as a result of research students increases, it can be said that the Academic Motivation Scale scores also increased.
