Özet: The aim of this research was to use social media networks to students in the Physical Education and Sport Teaching Department students and Faculty of Dentistry, to examine the relationship between sleep quality and addiction. As the data collection tools have been used ‘Facebook Addiction Scale’ developed by Andreassan et al. (2012), adapted to Turkish by Türkyılmaz (2015) and ‘Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale’ developed by Buyyse et al. (1989) and adapted to Turkish by Ağargün et al. (1996). The sample of thestudy is composed of the department of Physical Education and Sports Teacher students 169, from the Faculty of Dentistry students 99, in total 268 students in Mustafa Kemal University students who are teaching. Research, data analysis; the methods of descriptive statistics, Kruskal Wallis-H Test and Mann-Whitney-U Test were used. The aim of using social media networks students mostly communicate with friends. Sleep Quality and Social Media Networks Addiction were variable according to the section of dependence scale, it was determined that the Department of Physical Education and Sport Teaching showed a statistically significant difference. Also Social Media Networks Addiction and Sleep Quality Scale scores at the intermediate level a significant relationship was identified between directional and positive. As a result; It can be said that the students of Physical Education and Sports School are at a higher level of social media networks' Addiction than Dentist students, and at worse level of sleep quality.
