Özet: Gross national product GNP is one of the indicators that gives an idea about the performance of country’s economy for the particular period. Although GNP is a sign for the growth, it is also an important input for the implication of economical policies. One of the main contents of the GNP is the net exports. As the net export is the difference between the import and the export, it is important to analysis the elements of both. In this article, the administrative rules and regulations that causes fictitious import and have the effect on the foreign trade statistics in particular on the import figures will be discused, as well as the negative effects of fictitious import on economical decisions and policies
