Özet: Both continuous incease in our country’s foreign trade volume in last ten years and being a bridge between Europe and Asia push Turkey to facilitate especially transit operations and customs procedures. Indeed, it is clear that the apllied TIR Carnet, transit declaration on papers and other transit vehicles failed to prevent smugling at certain definite points. At this point, to resolve this and other problems, Ministry of Customs and Trade absolutely adopted Common Transit System that have long been used in Europe on 07/02/2013 at-the-end. In this article, will be made to give detailed informations as to the purpose of the Common Transit System, the last regulations brought what’s innovations and this system has beared what’s advantages to customs administration and taxplayers
