Özet: The merger procedure and process of trading companies were reenacted via Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 taking into account the acquis, problems confronted in practice and adequate legislation. With new provisions it is aimed to do secure, transparent and easy mergers while protecting partners, creditors and other stakeholders. The court will be able to cancel the merger in case there is a violation of legal procedure and process. Therefore it is crucial to obey legal procedure and process in order to avoid possible merger cancellations and legal responsibilities for attendees. Accordingly, in this study, the merger of trading companies is discussed in detail
