Özet: An accurate classification of “ceramic goods” take part in Chapter 69 and used in decoration, toilet bathroom , tableware and kitchenware have great importance in Turkish Customs Tariff. In general, ceramics which obtained by kilning clay, kaolin and similar materials in higher temperatures, are inorganic compounds formed by the combination of one or more metal component with nonmetal components. Porcelain has more specific structure even though it is obtained by using similar raw materials. In this study, differentiation of ceramic and porcelain samples investigated in our laboratory and reflection of this differentiation to Turkish Customs Tariff are mentioned
