In this period, it is understood that Assyrian traders have established an advanced trade network by spreading their commercial activities to Anatolia. Materials such as tin, ornaments, fabrics, and woven products traded by traders were the basis of this commercial activities. It is seen that the majority of these products are made up of fabrics. It is known that traders have been trading in Anatolia by bringing fabric from Assyria and Babylon. These traders were trading not only the imported fabrics but also the fabrics of Anatolian domestic production. However, as understood from the historical documents, fabrics imported from Assyria were in greater demand. Qualities, varieties, colors, weight sand prices of the fabrics traded in the text are often given. The prices of all traded fabrics varied according to their type and quality. It is seen that the fabrics, which are mostly charged of silver, are some time soffered for sale through copper and tin.
