Özet: In this study, the "Akhism" mentality which has an important place in the history of Turkish business and aims to maximize social benefit, and "Capitalism" which affects almost the whole world in today's global economy and whose main purpose is to maximize profit, the obligatory relationship attempted to be established between has been discussed and literature has been tried to be evaluated in this critical perspective. The study discusses the concept of "Akhism" as an institution of mentality and morality and discusses the sustainability of its existence independent of today's capitalist mentality. On the other hand the work evaluates the search for Akhism in the capitalist system as a mistake and argues that it should be treated as a mentality and an original evaluation should be made. The aim of this study is to systematically analyze the studies on Akhism and Capitalism between 2000-2021. For this purpose, studies in which akhism and capitalism are handled together in the literature were analyzed with a systematic review (8 studies out of 2502 studies were obtained in line with the exclusion criteria) and no direct opinion was found on the applicability of ahilik within the capitalist system in the relevant studies. However, it is emphasized that it should be adapted to today's conditions. This finding is important for the self-realization of the study.
