Özet: The main objective of this study is to determine the socio-economic situation of the cattle enterprises operating in the Aksaray province. A survey form was prepared for this purpose and data and information were obtained by using the face-to-face interview method. Surveys were conducted on 10 different settlements (villages and municipalities) in order that the survey sample could represent the population. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that a crucial part of the cattle breeders who didn’t get education and expert support about milk and cattle breeding. According to another result obtained from survey, important part of the cattle enterprises has membership to agricultural establishments. In addition, it has been stated that cattle enterprises operating in Aksaray are predominantly small and medium sized. According to another result obtained within the scope of the research, a significant part of the enterprises expects credit and incentive expectation from government.
