Özet: In this article, it has been investigated how the Syrian asylum seeker’s, who started to migrate since April 2011, religious education institutions, , follow the process of change of in a different society after migration. The fact that religion has different practical, sociological, theoretical dimensions and manifestations in relation to societies makes the role of religious education and cultural codes important in religious socialization. In this context, the aim of the study is to see whether the two communities belonging to the Islamic religion have changed at the religious education point, before and after immigration in Kilis, or have continued within the same institutions. Therefore, in this article, the religious education of Syrian refugees in religious socialization processes are discussed in terms of conceptualization in terms of the concepts of migration and sociology of religion as well as the possibilities of observing and determining religious education in the region from a sociological perspective. Participant observation data collection technique of the qualitative method was used in the study and in-depth interview technique was preferred. On the other hand, the research was carried out as a phenomenology study examining religious education in the process of religious socialization after the forced migration process of the Syrian asylum seeker residing in Kilis province. The data of the study was formed by considering the micro-sociological experiences of asylum-seekers and asylum-seekers living in Kilis province within the framework of interpretive and symbolic interactionist approaches. The study concluded that religious education is an important factor in the process of religious socialization.
